At the heart of the FSA 80 R is a powerful, maintenance-free brushless EC motor. The ergonomic control handle features a speed adjuster with two distinct power levels. ECO mode (level 1) is perfect for simpler tasks like trimming lawn edges, conserving energy and extending battery life. For mowing thicker grass, full speed mode (level 2) unleashes the tool’s maximum power. The brushcutter also features automatic tool recognition, adjusting its speed to deliver optimal performance for the specific cutting attachment being used.
The FSA 80 R is supplied as standard with the AutoCut 27-2 mowing head and a basic harness. Its versatility is enhanced by its compatibility with other STIHL cutting attachments, including the TrimCut, DuroCut, PolyCut, and GrassCut cutting tools. As this is a tool-only unit, a battery and charger from the STIHL AK System are required.
