The STIHL FSA 80 is a high-performance, battery-powered brushcutter engineered to tackle the toughest mowing, cutting, and clearing jobs in a domestic garden. Its powerful and efficient brushless EC motor delivers consistent power, ensuring a clean cut even as the battery discharges. Thanks to its battery power, the FSA 80 has low noise emissions, making it an excellent choice for working in built-up or noise-sensitive environments without disturbing neighbours.
Please note: This is the tool-only version of the FSA 80. The battery and charger are required for operation and are sold separately.
The FSA 80 puts the operator in complete control with a variable speed trigger that features two distinct power levels. Level 1 (ECO mode) conserves energy for lighter tasks like trimming lawn edges, extending the battery runtime. Level 2 unleashes the tool’s full power for mowing thick grass and dense vegetation. The machine is fitted with a new style loop handle with a quick-mounting system, allowing for easy adjustment to the user’s height for a comfortable and ergonomic working position. This handle design makes it easier to manoeuvre on slopes, around trees, and across uneven terrain. For added comfort during longer jobs, the FSA 80 comes with a basic harness and features an eyelet for easy attachment.
Supplied as standard with the AutoCut 27-2 mowing head, the FSA 80 is also compatible with a wide array of other STIHL cutting attachments, including the TrimCut, DuroCut, PolyCut, and GrassCut cutting tools. A clever feature is its automatic tool recognition, which adjusts the motor speed to the optimal level for whichever cutting attachment is fitted, maximising performance and efficiency. Furthermore, the tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, allowing it to be integrated into the STIHL connected system for tracking operating hours and managing maintenance schedules via a smartphone app.
