It excels at pruning, trimming, and maintaining tall and wide hedges, shrubs, and bushes. Its lightweight design, low noise output, and minimal vibrations make it ideal for extended periods of work, particularly in noise-sensitive areas such as residential estates, parks, and around hospitals.
Powered by STIHL’s 36V AP battery system, the HLA 135 is perfectly balanced to minimise fatigue during operation. The ergonomic control handle features a three-level speed control, allowing the operator to precisely manage the blade speed to suit the task. This versatile design ensures comfortable and efficient use for both left- and right-handed users.
With a total length of 249 cm, this long-reach hedge trimmer provides the reach necessary for challenging jobs. The 60 cm (24″) laser-cut, double-sided, diamond-ground blades are friction-optimised for superior cutting performance and extended battery life. A key feature is the cutter head, which can be adjusted by up to 145°, enabling effortless trimming of the tops and sides of hedges from a safe standing position. The high acceleration of the EC motor ensures the blades deliver a consistently clean and precise cutting pattern. For convenience, the head folds flat, reducing the total length to 188 cm for easy transport and storage. Furthermore, its IPX4 rating certifies it for reliable use even in rainy and wet conditions.
Please note, this is a tool-only model and is supplied without a battery or charger. It is compatible with the professional STIHL AP battery range. The recommended AP 200 S battery provides perfect balance and a working time of up to 64 minutes. A wide range of other batteries are also compatible, offering various run times to suit different workloads.
