Offering performance comparable to the petrol-powered HS 87, this tool is designed for the toughest, most detailed work, particularly on ornamental or fine-leaf hedges such as taxus, buxus, or privet. Its high blade speed and specialised blade geometry deliver an impeccably neat, accurate, and sharp finish every time.

At the core of the HSA 150 T is a powerful and efficient brushless EC motor, harmonised with a new gearbox system to produce extremely high cutting force. The single-sided cutting blade features a 30 mm tooth spacing, and its speed can be adjusted across three levels (3,900, 4,500, or 5,000 rpm) via the control cockpit on the handle. This adaptability allows the operator to perfectly match the speed to the topiary being worked on. An intelligent anti-jamming function helps to release the cutters if they get stuck on thicker branches; by simply releasing and re-pulling the trigger, the blades will move in the opposite direction to free themselves.

The integrated battery slot ensures perfect balance, especially when using the recommended AP 200 S battery, making prolonged use more comfortable. A rotating multi-function handle allows for effortless cutting at various angles on the tops or sides of hedges. As part of the versatile STIHL AP System, the HSA 150 T runs on a 36V Lithium-Ion battery, delivering constant power without performance drop-off as the battery discharges. This provides long working times with low vibrations and extremely quiet operation. The tool is also compatible with the Smart Connector for easy integration into the STIHL connected system for tool monitoring.
