The STIHL MSA 300.0 is the most powerful cordless chainsaw in STIHL’s professional AP System, engineered for demanding use by arborists, foresters, and landscapers. It delivers a full 3.0 kW of electrical power, making its performance comparable to the highly regarded MS 261 C-M petrol chainsaw. This model is ideal for felling small and medium-sized trees, delimbing, and cutting timber to length, offering maximum power without the emissions, fuel mixing, or high noise levels of a petrol equivalent.
Please Note: This is a tool-only unit. The required AP 500 S battery and a compatible charger must be purchased separately to operate the chainsaw.
To ensure optimal performance and battery efficiency for any task, the MSA 300.0 features three distinct operating modes. ‘Eco’ mode reduces power for maximum runtime, ‘Felling’ mode delivers the highest possible torque at a reduced chain speed for powerful, even cuts, and ‘Delimbing’ mode utilises a very high chain speed for precise, fast cuts. These are easily selected via an intuitive control panel with a large, bright LED display that provides at-a-glance status information on the chain brake position and power setting.
Designed for prolonged use, the MSA 300.0 boasts a compact, balanced design and STIHL’s anti-vibration system for enhanced comfort. Practical features include a captive nut on the sprocket cover to prevent loss during chain changes, tool-free chain tensioning, an adjustable oil pump, and a transparent oil tank for easy level monitoring. The low-maintenance, efficient EC motor ensures a long service life. For fleet management, the housing features a dedicated mounting point for the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A, allowing valuable tool data to be transmitted to the STIHL connected App.
