The STIHL MSA 220 C-B is a formidable cordless chainsaw designed to meet the demands of professional users. It delivers a power output comparable to the popular petrol MS 201 model, making it an ideal choice for felling, pruning, delimbing, cutting to length, or even building with timber. Its robust construction ensures it can handle versatile tasks on a work site or across large properties with ease.
Equipped with a 14″ Light 04 guide bar and a high-performance 3/8″ PS3 Pro saw chain, the MSA 220 C-B achieves 20% more cutting performance than models with the standard PS chain. This combination not only enhances cutting speed but also optimises energy efficiency, resulting in a 10% increase in the number of cuts per battery charge. It is capable of felling small trees up to 25 cm in diameter. Being battery-powered, it operates with significantly less noise, making it perfectly suited for work in noise-sensitive locations such as residential areas, schools, or hospitals.
STIHL has engineered the MSA 220 C-B for comfort and control. The ergonomic control handle and two-handed operation design ensure comfortable and safe use across various cutting angles. A variable speed trigger gives the operator maximum control over the chain speed, which is essential when working with different materials or in delicate situations. For straightforward maintenance, the chainsaw features STIHL’s Quick Chain Tensioning system, allowing for tool-free adjustments on the go.
