The STIHL HTA 135 is a very powerful, low-vibration cordless pole pruner designed specifically for professional use. It is the ideal tool for arborists, fruit farmers, and local authorities tasked with pruning trees, removing dead wood, clearing storm breakage, and cutting back fruit trees. Its performance is delivered quietly and without emissions, making it perfect for work in noise-sensitive areas.
Equipped with a 30cm / 12″ guide bar and a 3/8″ P saw chain, the HTA 135 ensures precise and efficient cutting. The unit’s total length is adjustable between 285 cm and 405 cm, thanks to a particularly rigid professional telescopic shaft with rapid adjustment. This rigidity provides excellent guidance for precise biting characteristics and a clean cut, even at maximum extension.
The HTA 135 incorporates a lightweight magnesium gearhead to reduce user fatigue during long periods of use, and a sturdy branch hook makes it easy to remove loose cuttings from the tree canopy. For enhanced control, a raised line is integrated into the sprocket cover to act as a direction guide. The power tool housing also features a mounting point for the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A, allowing for easy integration into fleet management systems.
STIHL’s intelligent electronics ensure the tool delivers constant power, regardless of the battery’s charge level. The single-handed multi-function handle includes speed control, allowing the operator to adjust performance to the task, conserving energy and extending battery runtime. Please note, this is a ‘Tool Only’ unit and is supplied without a battery or charger. This allows users who already own tools from the STIHL AP system to use their existing batteries. The HTA 135 is compatible with all AP batteries, with the AP 300 S being the recommended choice for an optimal balance of power and weight.
