The STIHL HT 135 is a powerful telescopic pole pruner specifically engineered for professional tree care and maintenance. It is the ideal choice for efficiently pruning trees, removing dead wood, clearing branches, and managing storm damage. Its design focuses on combining power with user-friendly features, ensuring that even demanding jobs can be completed efficiently. The low-emission 4-MIX engine is complemented by a manual fuel pump and automatic decompression system, which work together to ensure the engine starts quickly and easily every time.
At the core of the HT 135 is its powerful, high-torque 4-MIX engine. The cutting head features a light yet robust magnesium gearbox, which reduces fatigue during long periods of use, making work more energy-efficient. A practical branch hook is attached to the magnesium housing for removing cut branches, while the lateral chip ejection system prevents the gearbox from clogging. For added stability, the sprocket cover includes a dipstick that can be used for positioning the pole pruner during operation. A thoughtful 1:1 oil-to-petrol tank ratio means chain oil top-ups align with refuelling, minimising downtime.
Handling the HT 135 is both safe and comfortable. All essential engine controls are integrated into the single-handed multi-function handle, making it easy to operate for both right and left-handed users. To reduce operator fatigue, the effective STIHL anti-vibration system helps to relieve muscles and joints by dampening engine vibrations. The rigid, adjustable telescopic shaft can be quickly altered for different working heights or for compact transportation, with a total length adjustable from 270 cm to 390 cm, allowing it to cut branches up to a height of 5 m. For maximum cutting performance, the HT 135 can be used with a ¼”P or a 3/8”P cutting attachment. An ergonomic, padded shoulder strap and mounting clamp for an RTS harness are included with the pruner.

The telescopic shaft extends from 270cm to 390cm. This allows a trained operator to safely prune branches at heights of up to 5 metres (approximately 16 feet) from a standing position on the ground.
The STIHL 4-MIX® engine uniquely combines the advantages of two-stroke and four-stroke engines. It runs on a standard petrol-oil mixture, just like a 2-stroke, which eliminates the need for separate oil changes and servicing. However, it delivers the high torque, pleasant sound, and lower emissions characteristic of a 4-stroke engine.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the air filter, checking the spark plug, sharpening or replacing the saw chain, and ensuring the chain is correctly tensioned and lubricated. For comprehensive maintenance, blade sharpening and engine servicing, you can book your machine into our professional workshop for support by our trained mechanics.
