This highly power-efficient 2-stroke engine reduces exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, lowering operating costs. It is low-maintenance and uses fuel effectively even at high power levels, complying with the strict EU Stage V emissions directive.
STIHL ErgoStart saves energy when starting the machine. A smooth, even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. An additional spring between the crankshaft and starter cord roll makes starting significantly easier and more reliable, even with a slow pull.
The ‘R’ version is designed for large-volume pruning. The blades feature a large tooth spacing and increased blade height. Combined with a specific gear ratio, this configuration delivers a very high cutting force, ideal for cutting back thick hedges and shrubs quickly and easily.
For ergonomic and comfortable working, the handle can be rotated 90 degrees to the left and right. This enables precise cutting at your side or at head height and is suitable for both left- and right-handed users, ensuring the tool is always in the most effective position.
