This hedge trimmer uses a 50:1 mixture of petrol and high-quality 2-stroke engine oil. For optimal performance, engine longevity, and to avoid fuel mixing issues, STIHL recommends using their own MotoMix premixed fuel, which also extends the domestic warranty from 2 to 3 years when purchased together.
