For safety, an integrated safety lock is built into the opening mechanism. When the closing screws are opened for maintenance or blade changes, the safety switch is activated, interrupting the power flow to prevent accidental start-up. After the work is done, the shredder can be easily moved to a storage location thanks to its integrated transport wheels.
