The STIHL FSA 120 R is a battery-powered brushcutter engineered to provide excellent mowing performance for professionals in gardening and landscaping. Its powerful, low-maintenance brushless EC motor delivers the performance needed for the toughest jobs, while its low noise emissions make it the ideal choice for working in noise-sensitive locations such as schools, hospitals, and quiet residential neighbourhoods.
Please note: This product is sold as a ‘tool only’ unit and does not include a battery or charger. These items must be purchased separately. It is compatible with the STIHL AP battery system, with the AP 300 S battery being the recommended choice for optimal performance.
The FSA 120 R features a speed-adjustment on the control handle with two distinct settings. ECO mode (level 1) conserves energy for simpler tasks like trimming lawn edges, extending battery life. Full speed mode (level 2) unleashes the machine’s full power for mowing through thicker grass. The trimmer also has automatic tool recognition, adjusting its speed to suit the attached cutting tool for optimal performance in any application. For comfortable handling, the control handle has a soft grip and an ergo lever, which prevents the need to unlock the machine during continuous use.
Its new style loop handle includes a quick-mounting system, allowing for tool-free adjustment to suit the operator’s height for a more ergonomic working position. This design, combined with the protective barrier bar, enhances manoeuvrability and safety when working on slopes, around obstacles, or in confined spaces. A basic shoulder harness is included to distribute the weight of the tool, ensuring comfort during extended use.
Supplied as standard with the AutoCut 27-2 mowing head, the FSA 120 R’s versatility is a key feature. It can be fitted with a range of other STIHL cutting tools, including the TrimCut, DuroCut, PolyCut, and various GrassCut cutting tools, making it adaptable to various challenges. Furthermore, with an IPX4 rating, this brushcutter is designed to be used in all weather conditions. The FSA 120 R is also compatible with the Smart Connector, allowing for integration into the STIHL connected system for efficient tool management and maintenance tracking.
