At the heart of the FR 131 T is STIHL’s innovative 4-MIX® engine. This four-stroke engine provides fantastic power and torque but runs on a standard oil and petrol mix, eliminating the need for a separate oil circuit. This makes it more compact, lightweight, and lower maintenance than conventional four-stroke engines, while still offering a comfortable sound pattern and complying with European Stage V emissions directives.
STIHL has engineered the FR 131 T with the operator in mind. The STIHL anti-vibration system uses buffer and spring elements to reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area, making the tool more comfortable to hold and your work much less tiring. The stop button allows the engine to be switched off for a short break and, as it springs back to its original position, the engine is immediately ready to start again, increasing efficiency.
The detachable shaft is a key feature, allowing you to dismantle the brushcutter quickly and without any tools for easier transport in a vehicle and space-saving storage. The machine comes supplied with the AutoCut 25-2 mowing head.
