At the heart of the FS 91 is the innovative STIHL 4-MIX® engine. This technology combines the benefits of two-stroke and four-stroke engines, running on a standard fuel-oil mix. This eliminates the need for separate oil changes, making it lighter, more compact, and requiring less maintenance than conventional four-stroke engines. It delivers fantastic torque and power with a more comfortable sound profile, all while complying with European Stage V emissions directives. A larger fuel tank ensures increased cutting time between refills, maximising your productivity.
STIHL has designed the FS 91 with operator comfort as a priority. The ergonomic bike handle allows for a natural, smooth mowing motion, making it effortless to cover large areas. This handle can be easily adjusted without tools via a central clamping device and can even be rotated 90 degrees for compact storage and transport. All essential controls are integrated into a single-handed multi-function handle for easy and reliable operation. Furthermore, the STIHL anti-vibration system uses buffer and spring elements to reduce the vibrations transmitted to the handle, significantly reducing operator fatigue during long working days.
The FS 91 comes ready to work, supplied with a comfortable ADVANCE universal harness to distribute the machine’s weight evenly. For cutting flexibility, it includes both the AutoCut C 26-2 mowing head for clearing grass and an aggressive GrassCut 230-2 metal blade for tougher vegetation. The machine is also highly versatile, with a wide selection of cutting tools available to suit various applications. Useful features like the stop button, which automatically returns to the start position, and the manual fuel pump for easier starts after breaks, enhance efficiency and convenience on the job.
