A front-cut Park is only as good as the deck bolted to the front of it, and the Combi Pro 110 Q Plus is the one to go for if you cover a lot of ground and would rather not stop to empty a collector. At 110cm it clears a serious width in a single pass, and because it works as a mulching deck or a rear discharge deck, you can change how you cut as the season and the grass change without changing machines.

If your machine isn’t on that list, don’t guess. Send us the model and serial number from the plate and we’ll tell you which deck is right for it. Decks are not interchangeable across every generation of Park, and the wrong one is an expensive mistake.

Most owners end up using both across a season.

Mulch when you’re cutting weekly through spring and summer, the grass is dry, and you’re taking no more than a third of the leaf off in one go. The clippings disappear, the lawn keeps its colour in dry spells and you’re putting nutrients back rather than binning them.

Discharge when the grass is long or damp, in the flush of growth in May, or on rougher ground and paddock edges where finish matters less than getting the job done. Mulching wet grass clogs any deck, and that’s when people decide mulching “doesn’t work” when really it was the wrong day for it.

Worth saying plainly: a Combi deck mulches or discharges, it doesn’t collect. If you need the clippings picked up, you want a collecting setup instead, and we’re happy to talk you through the difference before you order.

Un-timed blades. The three blades run independently rather than being synchronised to avoid each other. In practice it means a simpler, more forgiving deck: if you catch something, there’s no timing to knock out and reset.

Pivoting anti-scalp wheels. They swivel as you turn, so the deck follows the contours instead of digging a corner in. On undulating ground and around trees, that’s the difference between a clean finish and brown patches you’ll be looking at for weeks.

Electric height adjustment. Height is set from the seat between 25 and 90mm. Handy when you’re dropping the height gradually through spring or lifting it in a drought, which is what you should be doing rather than cutting everything at one setting all year.

Tubular frame. The frame is there to take the knocks a working deck picks up around gateposts and kerbs. It’s a professional-spec deck, and it’s built accordingly.

Get the deck wrong and you’ve bought 75kg of steel that won’t go on your machine, so we’d rather spend two minutes checking your serial number than process an order that has to come back.
