What is the difference between Manual and Scheduled mowing?
There are three ways to start mowing. You can start a task manually either in the app (‘Mow Now’) or on the mower itself (MOW + OK). A manual task will run until the entire area is 100% complete. Scheduled mowing starts automatically based on the schedule you set in the app and only operates during those hours. If you start a manual mow while a schedule is active, the manual task takes priority and will run to completion.
Can I use a garage or shelter for the Navimow i-series?
Yes, using a garage is recommended for extra protection. You can purchase the official Segway Navimow garage. If you choose a third-party or DIY shelter, ensure it is made from metal-free materials, such as plastic, to avoid interfering with the GNSS satellite signal.
What boundary types can be created for the Navimow-i?
You can create two types of boundaries. The ‘Standard Boundary’ keeps the mower safely within the defined grassy area. The ‘Ride-on Boundary’ is for edges where the lawn meets a flat, level surface like a patio. This allows the mower to slightly straddle the boundary for a much cleaner, closer edge cut. Note that for Ride-on Boundaries, the height difference must be less than 1 cm.
What are the minimum passage requirements for the mower?
For the Navimow i105E to successfully navigate a passage, such as between two lawn areas or through a gate, the opening should be at least 100cm wide and have a height clearance of at least 40cm.
