This model is ideally suited for homeowners with medium-sized lawns (up to 800 m²) who desire a pristine finish with minimal effort, especially those with complex garden layouts or who wish to avoid the hassle of a traditional boundary wire installation.

Wire-Free Operation with AI Vision

To use the Automower 308V, two key requirements must be met: consistent Wi-Fi internet coverage across the entire lawn area, and the free Automower® Connect app, available on the AppStore and Google Play. The app is the central hub for the mower’s operation, allowing you to create customised work areas and temporary stay-out zones with ease. These virtual boundaries can be adjusted at any time to accommodate changes in your garden’s layout throughout the season.

A built-in camera uses artificial intelligence to detect and identify objects on the lawn, allowing the mower to intelligently avoid collisions. This AI vision works in tandem with satellite navigation to ensure complete lawn coverage, maintaining performance even in areas where the satellite signal might be weaker, as long as the camera can see grass.

Advanced Mowing Patterns & Technology

A standout feature of the 308V is its selectable mowing patterns. You can choose to have a striped, checkerboard, or triangle pattern cut into your lawn, achieving a professional finish over an area up to 800 m². For a more traditional, carpet-like appearance, the irregular pattern mode can be selected, which has a 500 m² area capacity.

To achieve centimetre-level accuracy, the mower receives positioning data from the Husqvarna Cloud at no extra cost, offering typical position accuracy better than 5 cm. You can easily test your garden’s Wi-Fi coverage with a smartphone. If the signal is weak, it can be improved with a range extender or Mesh Wi-Fi system. Alternatively, for enhanced connectivity, an Automower® Connect kit for cellular connection or a Husqvarna EPOS® RS1 reference station for even higher accuracy (2-3 cm) can be professionally installed.
