To protect this vital component, the pump is equipped with Honda’s Oil Alert™ system, which automatically shuts down the unit if the oil level drops below a safe operating threshold, preventing engine damage.
The pump’s construction is tailored for longevity, even when pumping abrasive materials. It features an abrasion-resistant cast iron volute and impeller, along with durable silicon carbide mechanical seals. This combination provides superior durability, allowing the pump to handle water containing silt, sand, and debris up to 6mm in size. A strainer is also included to prevent larger objects from entering the pump. The entire unit is mounted on straight engine rubber mounts to reduce vibration, minimising mechanical stress and wear.
Please note, a suitable hosepipe is not included and must be acquired separately.
