Aggressive and Effective Thatch Removal

The Allett QC De-thatcher is the most aggressive cartridge in the Quick Change range, designed for lawns in serious disarray. Boasting wider spaced and thicker tines, it effectively penetrates the soil surface to a maximum depth of -6mm. This rigorous action allows it to pick up and remove the densest layers of thatch, including dead grass, leaves, plant stolons, and unwanted weed growth.

The Key to a Healthier Lawn

By removing excessive thatch and moss, the De-thatcher cartridge enables essential water, air, and nutrients to absorb into the soil and reach the grass roots. This process leads to a healthier, thicker, and more luscious lawn that is less susceptible to disease and moss growth. For optimal results, de-thatching should be carried out at least once a year, typically in late Spring or Autumn when moisture is available to help the lawn recover. This powerful cartridge removes approximately twice as much material as the Verticut cartridge, making it the ideal choice for significant lawn renovation projects.
