The STIHL HSA 26 battery-powered handheld shrub shears are a brilliant tool for detailed maintenance tasks in gardens of any size. This model is supplied as the tool only, making it an ideal choice for those who already own batteries and a charger from STIHL’s AS System. A version including a battery and charger is also available.
Perfectly suited for gardeners who value precision, the HSA 26 excels at maintaining topiary and shaping small-leaved trees and shrubs. The included shrub blade features specially shaped teeth that securely hold branches up to 8mm thick, ensuring a clean and neat finish. For lawn care, the interchangeable grass trimming blade makes it quick and easy to achieve perfectly manicured lawn edges.
STIHL has designed the HSA 26 with comfort and convenience in mind. The ergonomic, rubberised handle provides a secure grip, allowing for precise and safe operation. Changing between the shrub and grass blades is a rapid, tool-free process, saving time and effort. A key feature is the integrated LED charge-level indicator, which allows the user to check the remaining battery capacity at the press of a button, helping to plan work efficiently.
The kit includes one 20 cm shrub shear blade with a blade scabbard, and one 12 cm grass shear blade with its scabbard, ensuring safe transport and storage. For those needing replacements, a Replacement shrub shear blade and Replacement grass shear blade are available.

This version of the HSA 26 includes the main tool body, one 20 cm shrub cutting blade with a scabbard, and one 12 cm grass trimming blade with a scabbard. It does not include a battery or a charger, which must be purchased separately if you don’t already own them.
The HSA 26 is part of the STIHL AS System. The recommended battery is the STIHL AS 2, which provides up to 110 minutes of runtime. This requires the AL 1 standard charger. Both items are available separately.
