STIHL’s AP System batteries feature an intelligent battery management system. Furthermore, the POWER BOOST function allows the battery and tool to communicate, providing the maximum possible power for demanding applications while protecting the battery’s longevity.
Designed for real-world conditions, the AP 20 is robust and durable. It is IPX4 rated, certifying it for use in all weather conditions with protection against splashwater from all sides. A practical integrated LED charge indicator with 4 LEDs clearly displays the remaining charge, so you always know when it’s time to recharge. A unique cold start feature protects the cells by warming them in a controlled manner before delivering full power, allowing the battery to function effectively in temperatures as low as -20° Celsius.
