What’s the difference between manual and scheduled mowing?
There are three ways to start the Navimow i108E:
- Mow Now (App): This is a manual mow. The mower will work until the entire lawn is 100% complete.
- MOW + OK (On Mower): This is also a manual mow and functions the same as using the app.
- Automatic Schedule: The mower will only operate during the hours you define. If the ‘mowing cycle’ is enabled, it will restart after reaching 100% completion within the scheduled time.
A manual mowing task will always override a current schedule.
Can I use a garage or shelter for the Navimow i108E?
Yes, you can. It is recommended to use the official Navimow-i garage for best protection. If you choose a third-party or custom-built shelter, you must ensure it is made from non-metallic materials (e.g., plastic) to avoid interfering with the GNSS satellite signal reception.
What boundary types can be created for the Navimow i-Series?
You can set two kinds of virtual boundaries during the mapping process:
- Standard Boundary: This is the default setting. The mower uses its VisionFence camera to detect the edge of the grass and stays safely within the virtual line, preventing it from bumping into obstacles or dropping off edges.
- Ride-on Boundary: This mode is ideal for lawns with edges that are level with a non-grass area, like a patio. The mower will straddle this boundary to deliver a precise, clean cut right up to the edge. For this to work, the height gap must be less than 1cm, and any barriers must be at least 20cm away from the boundary.
What are the minimum dimensions for the mower to pass through a gate or narrow passage?
To ensure the Navimow i108E can successfully navigate through a passage, such as between two lawn areas or through a garden gate, the passage should be at least 100cm wide and have a minimum height clearance of 40cm.
