The STIHL RMA 765 V is the definitive cordless lawn mower for professional grounds maintenance and large-scale lawn care. As part of the versatile STIHL AP System, this mower delivers quiet, sustainable, and powerful performance, eliminating the need for petrol and refuelling during operation. A high-performance brushless electric motor, powered by advanced lithium-ion batteries, drives the synchronised 2-blade mower. With an expansive cutting width of 63 cm (24″), the RMA 765 V ensures a precise, fine cut across any terrain it tackles.
To maximise efficiency, the mower is equipped with an eco mode that automatically adjusts the motor’s speed based on the power required, conserving battery life. Operators have multiple options for handling clippings: collect them in the generous 80-litre grass catcher box, eject them directly onto the lawn via the rear discharge, or retrofit an optional mulching kit to finely shred the clippings and return them to the turf as a natural fertiliser.
Operator comfort and control are paramount. The electric Vario self-propulsion allows for infinite adjustment of the forward speed to suit the user’s pace and mowing conditions. The machine is built from high-quality, durable materials, featuring a hybrid housing with a robust aluminium outer shell and an impact-resistant polymer inner wall. Manoeuvrability is enhanced by swivelling front wheels and a cushioned super-soft grip on the height-adjustable, foldable mono-comfort handlebar. Cutting height is also easily adjusted at each wheel from 25 to 100 mm, offering complete flexibility.

This mower is sold as a ‘Tool Only’ unit and does not include a battery or charger. It is part of the STIHL AP System. For maximum performance and runtime, the AR 3000 L backpack battery is recommended. However, it is also compatible with other AP System batteries, such as the AR 2000 L or twin AP 500 S batteries when used with the ADA 1000 adapter.
Yes, it can. While the mower comes standard with collection and rear-discharge functions, it can be converted for mulching by fitting the optional mulching kit accessory. This allows the grass clippings to be finely shredded and returned to the lawn as a natural, nutrient-rich fertiliser.
