The STIHL HSA 30 is a battery-powered hedge trimmer engineered for homeowners who need a lightweight yet effective tool for smaller garden tasks. Its excellent balance and low weight of just 2.0 kg make maintaining box hedges and trimming annual growth a comfortable and effortless job. This model is perfectly suited for use in residential areas where low noise is essential.
Please note: This is the tool-only version of the HSA 30. The required STIHL AS 2 battery and charger are sold separately. A complete kit version is also available.
Equipped with a 45 cm (18″) double-sided, single-edged cutting blade, the HSA 30 delivers exceptional cutting performance. The blades are laser-cut and diamond-ground, ensuring they are highly resilient and remain sharp for a long time, providing a clean and precise finish on your hedges. A standard screw-on tip protector prevents damage to the blades when working close to the ground or along walls.
The HSA 30 is part of STIHL’s AS System, meaning its removable lithium-ion battery is interchangeable with other tools in the range, such as the GTA 26 garden pruner and SEA 20 hand vacuum. Users can easily check the remaining battery life by pressing the LED charge-level indicator button on the side of the tool. With a fully charged AS 2 battery, the HSA 30 provides a run time of up to 50 minutes. For safe storage and transport, the trimmer includes a blade scabbard and an integrated hanging eyelet.
