The STIHL FSA 50.0 is an easy-to-use, battery-powered grass trimmer designed specifically for mowing and clearing tasks in home gardens. As part of the STIHL AK System, it offers powerful performance with very low noise emissions, ensuring you can maintain your garden without disturbing neighbours. Its excellent balance and low weight make it an ideal entry-level grass trimmer suitable for operators of all ages and abilities, particularly for maintaining small lawns and lawn edges.

Comfort is central to the FSA 50.0’s design. It features a re-designed telescopic shaft that can be adjusted in length to suit the user’s height, promoting better posture and reducing strain. The soft grip loop handle can also be adjusted without tools for a customised fit. Furthermore, the mowing head can be set at three different angles, making it easy to trim in awkward areas such as underneath benches, on slopes, or around trees.
The FSA 50.0 is supplied with the AutoCut C 3-2 mowing head, which can be refilled with line tool-free. For different conditions, it is also compatible with the PolyCut 3-2 mowing head (sold separately). For perfect lawn edges, the mowing head can be rotated 90 degrees, allowing for precise vertical cutting. A newly designed spacer bracket protects the trimmer from damaging fragile objects like plants and flowers. A variable speed trigger gives the operator precise control over the mowing head’s speed, which helps to optimise battery runtime, while STIHL’s intelligent electronics deliver constant power, ensuring performance doesn’t decrease as the battery discharges.
The FSA 50.0 is compatible with all batteries in the STIHL AK System. The recommended AK 10 battery provides excellent balance and sufficient runtime for typical domestic tasks. Runtimes vary depending on the battery and cutting head used.
