The STIHL BRA 600 is the most powerful battery-powered backpack leaf blower in STIHL’s professional line-up. Engineered specifically for commercial operators and those with extensive grounds to maintain, it tackles the toughest clearing jobs with ease. This model is a key part of the AP System of battery tools and uniquely uses the power of two AP batteries to drive its 72-volt motor. This results in an exceptionally powerful maximum blowing force of 35 newtons, which is equivalent to the performance of the respected BR 700 petrol professional backpack blower and a notable step up from the BRA 500.

This blower is the ideal solution for demanding cleaning tasks, including clearing large areas in parks, fields, paths, and streets. Its high blowing force means it can shift heavy, wet leaves, damp grass, hedge trimmings, and other debris without hesitation. A key feature of STIHL’s AP System is the constant power output, which ensures the BRA 600 maintains its high performance throughout the entire battery charge, avoiding the gradual power drop seen in other systems.

Advanced Ergonomics and Operator Comfort

Despite its immense power, the BRA 600 is designed for comfortable use over long working periods. The clever positioning of the batteries and motor creates excellent weight distribution, keeping the centre of gravity snug against the operator’s back. This ergonomic design significantly improves comfort compared to traditional petrol backpack blowers. The carrying system, featuring the same high-quality shoulder and waist padding as the BR 800, further enhances user comfort, reducing fatigue during all-day operation. Adjusting the handle position is simple and requires no tools, allowing each user to find their perfect ergonomic setup.

Intelligent Control and Quiet Operation

STIHL’s innovative noise reduction system is integrated into the BRA 600, significantly lowering high-frequency noises through a low fan RPM and effective noise insulation. This makes it a much more pleasant tool to operate around schools, hospitals, residential areas, and public parks. An electronic interface on the control handle provides complete control, allowing the user to switch between Low, Mid, High, and Boost modes. It also displays battery charge level, enables cruise control, and offers basic diagnostic information. For enhanced durability and easier transport, the base features a robust aluminium tube. The BRA 600 is also fully compatible with STIHL Connected for efficient fleet management. To further enhance its capability, an optional STIHL adjustable round nozzle is available separately, allowing a quick switch between maximum air volume and maximum air speed.

Please note: This is a ‘Tool Only’ product. Batteries and charger are required and sold separately. The BRA 600 must be operated with two AP batteries; it cannot run on a single battery. For optimal performance, two AP 500 S batteries are recommended.
