The Mountfield MMT 20 Li is a compact and ergonomic battery-powered multi-tool, offering a superb solution for maintaining small gardens. As part of Mountfield’s 100 Series, this tool eliminates the mess and fumes of petrol engines, providing cordless freedom with the reliable STIGA ePower 20V 4Ah lithium-ion battery. This versatile kit comes with everything needed to tackle high hedges and overhanging branches with ease.
The included hedge trimmer attachment features a 45.5cm dual-action blade with a 26mm tooth spacing, capable of cleanly cutting through branches up to 18mm in diameter. For maximum control and manoeuvrability when shaping and trimming, the cutting head rotates through 112 degrees, allowing for the perfect angle on hedge tops and sides.
For pruning jobs, simply attach the 20cm (8″) pole pruner. It features a high-quality chain running at 5 m/s for efficient cutting of branches. An automatic oil pump keeps the chain and bar consistently lubricated for smooth performance and longevity, while the side screw makes chain tensioning straightforward.
The MMT 20 Li’s main body can be extended with the 55cm telescopic shaft, giving an impressive maximum reach of 2.75m with the hedge trimmer and 2.55m with the pole pruner. Quick-release clips allow for effortless switching between attachments. The tool also features a soft-grip handle for comfort, and a single harness is included to reduce fatigue during extended use.
