Powerful Cutting Performance
Equipped with a robust 350W brushed motor, the MPP 50 Li drives a high-performance chain around its 25cm (10″) cutting bar at a speed of 5 m/s. This ensures clean, precise, and efficient cuts through tough overhead branches. An integrated bumper on the cutting attachment allows the user to lean the pruner against branches for added stability and accuracy during operation. The automatic oil pump continuously lubricates the bar and chain, ensuring smooth performance and extending the life of the cutting equipment.
Designed for Comfort and Reach
The standout feature of this pole pruner is its 65cm telescopic extension shaft, which allows the tool to reach an impressive total length of 270cm. This gives a typical user a working reach of up to 4 metres, making previously inaccessible pruning jobs manageable from the safety of the ground. The loop handle features a soft grip, enhancing comfort and control during use.
Freedom 500 Battery System
As part of the Mountfield Freedom 500 series, the MPP 50 Li is powered by the advanced STIGA ePower 48V Lithium-Ion battery system. These intelligent batteries automatically recognise the tool they are fitted to and adapt the power output accordingly. With the recommended 2Ah battery, the pruner offers a working time of up to 15 minutes. It’s important to note that the battery and charger are sold separately, allowing you to use existing batteries from other tools in the Freedom 500 range.
