High-Efficiency Brushless Motor
At the heart of the MBC 50 Li is a powerful 500W brushless motor, which provides superior performance, greater efficiency, and a significantly longer service life compared to traditional brushed motors. The motor is housed in robust aluminium for enhanced resistance and reliability. An intuitive electronic control panel with LEDs and a simple on/off switch makes operation safe and straightforward, while the variable speed control allows for precise energy management to suit the task at hand.
Versatile Cutting System
This tool is equipped to handle a variety of conditions. For everyday trimming and edging, the high-performance Bump & Work dual-line nylon head provides a generous 38cm cutting width. When faced with tougher vegetation like dense weeds or brambles, the supplied 255mm 4-tooth (4T) metal blade can be fitted to make light work of the challenge.
Ergonomic Design for User Comfort
Designed for comfortable operation, the MBC 50 Li features an adjustable loop handle with a soft grip, a straight shaft for excellent reach, and includes a single harness. The harness helps to distribute the tool’s weight, reducing fatigue and improving control and manoeuvrability during use.
The freedom500 Battery System
This brushcutter is part of the Mountfield freedom500 series, powered by STIGA’s intelligent ePower48V Lithium-Ion batteries. These smart batteries recognise the tool they are fitted to and adapt the power output accordingly. Please note, the battery and charger are sold separately. The recommended 4Ah battery provides a working time of up to 30 minutes. It’s important to be aware that this tool is not compatible with the previous Freedom 48 range produced before 2020.
