The Mountfield Mulching Kit is a genuine accessory designed specifically for 72cm (approximately 28-inch) Mountfield garden tractors. It provides an excellent way to convert your collecting tractor into an effective mulching machine, eliminating the need to dispose of grass clippings.
This kit includes a purpose-built mulching plug that securely blocks the entrance to the grass collection tunnel. When the plug is fitted, the cutting deck re-circulates and finely shreds the grass clippings before depositing them back onto the lawn. These tiny particles decompose rapidly, acting as a natural, nutrient-rich fertiliser that promotes a healthier, greener lawn over time.
